County courthouse 
in need of restoration
HAMILTON — Butler County’s historic courthouse is an iconic symbol that represents the county and the city it sits in.But time has created a number of problems for the 19th-century courthouse. About two decades ago, the stairs that lead to the courthouse’s four entrances were closed due to the uncertainty the sandstone stairs could hold.
